Phat Lemur was founded in the year 2000 by Duce and 2 Dogs. The original
project of Phat Lemur Productions, (which is still yet to be completed),
was to be an animated short called Brisbone
and Teeton. The first actual project was
a film produced by 2 Dogs and Duce called Gods
of the Rink.
This film was shortly followed by another film called Minimum
Wage which was produced by the newest
member of the company; Shaggy. Both films were subsequently entered into
the 2001 Champlain College Film Festival held annually at Trent
University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Phat Lemur Productions
officially announced today plans to produce its next picture. Phat Lemur
member, Kirk Lilwall, (aka Shaggy), was given the proverbial green light
for his latest project. He has been working within a team of writiers and
has put together a script that has warranted the production company puting
forth its largest budget to date for any of its projects. The story will
span two continents and no less than fourteen time zones. It is an epic
tale that will take the audience on a whirlwind tour around the world.
Phat Lemur has also
announced the signing of some key actors for the film. Worried that they
would have to go to their second choice for the lead role, (Brad Pitt,
according to rumours), they managed to sign David Hartley at the last minute.
Harltey will reprise
his role as the "Burger Master" in the third installment of the highly
acclaimed Minimum Wage triology. The tentative title for this new film
is Minimum Wage 3: The Reckoning. No word yet on the story line as the
script is being held under stict lock and key. There have been rumours
of a much more involved story including a bigger cast, longer running time,
stunts and a substantial chase scene. Word is that the climax of the film
is a moment in film that will not soon be forgotten.
